About a Walk Through
Cairo, Egypt

Focusing on Egypt’s ancient capital, A Walk Through Cairo, Egypt takes the reader into Cairo’s extraordinary streets and surroundings through a visual and readable narrative that links the past with the present. Its stunning photographs and educational text present a comprehensive study of an ancient agrarian civilization built adjacent to the Nile River almost five thousand years ago. From its roadways and pathways and tombs, the world of Cairo and the daily lives of its people are dramatically and lavishly captured in this dazzling and inspirational work.

Faces of the Island of Saint Dominique, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, NewYork

A Bronx photographer who has traveled the world capturing stories has his work on display at the Bronx Museum of the Arts.

Clayton Frazier's work ranges from images of the famous Jackson family to work that shows the difference between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, two countries sharing the same Caribbean island.

Despite his travels, he says some of his most memorable photographs were taken right here in New York City.

"One of the most amazing projects in the Bronx is when the Bronx had a lot of gangs," he says." They would come to my house, and my parents would get upset because they thought they were coming by for other means. I had to tell them it was for photos."
